My name is Sycorax, and this is my blog. I aim to be an honest revolutionary, and this requires outside intervention. I am not a relativist and I do believe in truth, but I also believe that truth by definition should be understood as a partial perspective defined by its desire to become whole.
My inclination is to keep my personal and at times pathetic writing to myself, but I cannot seek to show the world what it is fighting for with one hand held over my own heart. Consciousness of what we are fighting for means that sometimes we will run up against the limits of the world we’ve drawn for ourselves, out of the words, thoughts and feelings we enclose it within. The only way to break out of that world is to share one’s perspective with the hope that it will be broadened where it is narrow, and deepened where it is shallow.
